Tom Davies is still going around the world, and he needs your support

Back in February we told you about Tom Davies, a 19 year old who is attempting to become the youngest person to cycle round the world unsupported. His entire route is over 18,000 miles and includes 17 countries and four continents. As well as going for the record, he is taking this huge challenge in order to raise money for three different charities, including Carney’s Community. Well Tom is still going. He is currently in the USA and is now over three quarters of the way through his journey.

A.I.M High event in memory of Reece Kiffin

Carney’s Community will be running the Sports and Fitness section at A.I.M. High in Battersea on Saturday 4th July. The event is held in association with Aspire 2B, IAMNEXT and Caius House and will showcase local young creativity, talent and business to inspire positive lifestyles. If you are in the area on Saturday, head on down to Caius House on Holman Road between 3pm – 6pm and check us out!

Skydive smashes fundraising target

Box-fit: Ladies night!

Carney’s Community’s latest boxing session is a free ladies only box-fit session running on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm from 5 May. The sessions are non-contact and focus on fitness and fun using boxing skills. They are open to all young ladies aged between 11 and 25, whether a complete beginner or seasoned pro.
