It’s CHRISTMAAAAASSSS!!!
Well almost… And Christmas for Carney’s Community means the Big Give Campaign!
Every year we are blown away by the number of people who want to join our mission and support our Big Give Campaign. And this year we’ve been chosen again to take part. Can you help us?
If you were thinking of donating to Carney’s this year, during our Christmas Big Give Campaign is the best time to do it because for one week from 2nd to 9th December, every donation made to us via biggive.org will be doubled! Whatever you can give, no matter the size, every donation will make double the difference this year.
What can you do now?
● Add a calendar reminder to your diary for 2nd December at 12pm, including this link: https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS000005bBBJYA2 The donate button will appear on this page when the campaign starts at 12pm (midday).
● To help us even more, share the campaign with your friends, family or social networks: anyone who may be interested in having their donation doubled! Could we replace it with “Look out for the posts coming out about the campaign on our Instagram from 2nd December and share: https://www.instagram.com/carneyscommunity
Did you know? Carney’s keeps running because of people like you. Every year we have to raise around £700,000 to “keep the lights on” and support around 800 young people each year. We do this in several different ways, one of which is grant funding from trusts and foundations (for example National Lottery, Children in Need) but for charities like us there is less and less of this income available. This makes hitting the total we need to raise a much bigger challenge. But you can help make it a reality.
This Big Give Campaign all the donations will go towards our Key Work project. This is our transformative one to one support with young people facing the most complex circumstances. Our Key Workers walk alongside the young people, advocate for them, help them get jobs or back into mainstream education, help them get the support they are entitled to or even get criminal charges dropped for those who have been victims of criminal exploitation. Your support can make that possible.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
