3632bb7b-13ea-4607-a093-21f75dbece25Carney’s Community’s latest boxing session is a free ladies only box-fit session running on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm from 5 May.

The sessions are non-contact and focus on fitness and fun using boxing skills. They are open to all young ladies aged between 11 and 25, whether a complete beginner or seasoned pro.

Boxing training provides some of the best all-over body conditioning you can get, including:

  • muscle toning and increased energy;
  • improved fitness and health levels;
  • a great sense of community and a very sociable sport; and
  • it’s fun!

The sessions are run in partnership with the Sport England project ‘This Girl Can’, which aims to increase the number of girls taking part in sport.
